When was it that I actually had time to sit down to blog? Hmmm... probably about 2 months ago before baby #4 came on the scene! Now it seems I get absolutely nothing done--besides growing a human being and taking naps all afternoon. The laundry pile never dies, the kids are deprived of attention, and my credit card was declined the other day because I forgot to pay the bill (oops!) and failed to notice last month that I was short 2K on my payment (double oops!). Oh well, there's a season for everything, right? Even for using your check card.
Yesterday I took my family to the doctor to hear the heartbeat for the first time. Also in attendance was one of my oldest "daughters", Lindsay, who's been staying with us this week. What a holy moment it is to hear that tiny whoosh whoosh whoosh for the first time! Audial evidence of a human being that until now has just been a silent and invisible concept. There's really someone in there! My midwife assured me everything checks out. Thank you, Lord!
A couple more weeks and I should hopefully be past the worst of it and able to carry on with life again. And maybe even blog.

your doing good crim. and your a great mom. just enjoy the summer. sit in the backyard and watch the kids play and have them wear their clothes at least three times before washing; filthy or not.
works for me. :)
I love the first sounds too. They are never tiresome. What a beautiful moment that is!
You're doing great!!!
We love you Jen, we'll wait forever for your blogs!
Ask the Brain to get you a laptop, then you can blog and watch the children in the back yard....think of the possibilities.
